A question for my friends

Hello there friends,

I have a few ideas on the subject myself, but I am curious what you folks might think.

If you have any thoughts on professions in the next expansion please drop them in the comments.

  1. I’m rocking the Skinning / Leatherworking right now.

I like skinning, leatherworking is a joke.

I get bracers and leg enhancments when one of my melee guys gets the rare upgrade.

    Woop de doo.

I guess that’s not fair, sometimes a guildie will buy a LW recipe for me to make them a current level epic for them.

IMO the non-consumable professions just aren’t really worth your time unless you MUST be self sufficient. If I had gone skinning / herbalism from the start I would’ve made enough money to buy everything I ever made leatherworking.

  2. I don’t think it matters a whole lot. Endgame bonuses is either pretty much the same (JC, BS, LW, Enchant, Scribe) or pretty useless (skinning, herb). Making money varies a lot over two years, sometimes up, sometimes down, so is real hard fer ta predict. I say do what sounds interesting, and screw min-maxing.

  3. I’d say Leatherworking, there are some pretty decent ways to make gold with Leatherworking and Skinning to go alongside it.

  4. I wasn’t going to vote. I agree with Ratters – do what sounds interesting to you and personally, I’d do something new but that’s just me…. however…. tonight I saw a druid bear tank skin in bear form! And it was mighty adorable!!!!! 😛

  5. The more I think about it The more I am inclined to go with the results of the poll.

Skinning and Leatherworking it shall be.

Right after I get of my butt and level them.
